Kokedama is a Japanese method of potting and displaying plants in a ball of moss; there are several examples on display at the library. We'll be holding a workshop next Wednesday. Participants will experiment with moss and soil to create a plant to keep.
Plants and supplies will be provided, though you are welcome to bring your own slow-growing houseplant to use if you prefer. All library programs are offered for free, but the cost of materials is $15, so donations to offset that cost are appreciated.
Pre-registration is required for this program, and as of August 2 we have 8 spaces left. Preregister at the library or by emailing director@craftsburypubliclibrary.org.
