Please join Cabot Community Theater this Friday, August 4 at 5:00, as the 26 young actors in our summer theater camp perform world premieres of two one-act plays by the wonderful writer Colleen Hughes, who has once more collaborated with CCT to create plays uniquely suited for our group! The plays will be performed at the Cabot School Performing Arts Center (at 25 Common Rd), and admission is free!
After a magic spell works a little too well, a group of kids is transported inside the world of their favorite game. Can they solve the puzzle and escape, or will they be trapped there forever? Find out in "Puzzles and Portals," performed by our younger camp group.
The older actors will then perform "Backstage Pass." Missing props, sudden stage fright, fights between friends... it's opening night of the school play, but everything's going wrong. The drama unfolding backstage needs to be resolved, or else the drama on stage may never happen!
Both plays are suitable for all audiences; each play is about 20 minutes long, and there will be a brief intermission. Come support these talented kids and see what they can do--you'll have a great time!
