Listen to music, open to poetry, get lost in a story... Open Mic Nights at the Waterbury Public Library begin this evening Tuesday, August 1st and run from 6-8 PM in the Library's garden (weather permitting.) Bring a lawn chair or blanket, sit back, relax and enjoy your neighbors' and your friends' company in a relaxed, inviting setting. Hosted and curated by Garret White, Garret invites young and old, seasoned and newbies to come up to the mic, share a song, a story, a poem, a laugh- the choice is yours. Garret has a passion for connecting people and providing settings for growth and purpose. To that end, this Open Mic Night was born. All are welcome. Sign up tonight for your slot (2-3 minutes) and lets enjoy the evening with one another. See you there!
