The 12th annual Caspian Challenge , 5K race and 5K walk will be held at 8:30 am on Sunday, July 30th at the ballfield in Greensboro (corner of Lake Shore & Breezy Ave). The race consists of the classic rolling 6.7 mile loop around Caspian lake, as well as a flat, out and back 5K race, 5K walk. The race , sponsored by the Greensboro Assn , is a fundraiser for the Greensboro Bend Rail Trail Development Initiatives.
