What's this all about?
In light of the introduction of predatory business to our small town, we're strengthening our community commitment to local businesses and values. We've developed multifaceted strategies ranging from accountability measures to educational campaigns, with the goal of ensuring that Poultney thrives economically and socially. We invite you to join your fellow citizens in this essential effort to preserve our unique local character and ensure a vibrant future for our town.
What are we doing again?
Following our recent meeting, we have recognized that improved communication within the community is crucial to our collective efforts. We are working to create a reliable channel to keep everyone updated and informed. Our plans include sharing local business highlights, a community calendar, municipal action reports, and spotlighting community voices. We're also looking into which mediums would be best to reach everyone effectively, like newsletters, partnerships with local publications, social media, public access channels, and even podcasts. We aim to finalize our decision on these channels in our next meeting, ensuring our chosen medium is sustainable for the long term. We appreciate your input and support in this endeavor. If you care about Poultney, you can help.
