Reminder: Flooding Disaster Response and Recovery Resources
With many Vermont farmers in the early stages of a long recovery from the recent flooding, the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets has published the 2023 Flooding Disaster Response and Recovery Resources website.
It's a centralized location where they're gathering information important to farmers and the agricultural community at-large.
Among many things, it includes details about:
Reporting losses
Obtaining recovery funding
Managing flood damaged crops and forage
Handling milk
Reopening meat and poultry processing
Caring for your mental health
And more!
The Agency of Agriculture will continue to update this website with information, resources, and messages in the days and weeks to come.
