The Greensboro Land Trust's annual meeting will take place at 7:30 on Monday, July 31, in Fellowship Hall, Greensboro United Church of Christ. The featured speaker will be Jared Nunery, Orleans County Forester, who will discuss forest values, how our changing climate affects forests, and the importance of conserving them.
Ways for landowners to manage forests for increasing resilience or mitigating negative impacts of climate change will be described, as well as measures to mitigate some of the stressors currently affecting forest health in Greensboro and surrounding area.
