New Haven Community Pollinator Garden – Raising Monarch Butterflies Responsibly - Sat., July 29, 10 – 11
Location: New Haven Congregational Church (91 Town Hill Rd.)

Migrating monarch butterflies are officially on the endangered list. We can all help by planting more pesticide-free milkweed because it is the only plant that the caterpillars will eat. But there is a debate as to whether raising them is helpful or harmful.
Join us for a free class for all ages. We will learn about the life stages of the monarch butterfly, its amazing migration, its habitat needs and how we can best help it to survive. We will have live examples at different stages of its life cycle.

Lots of free parking. Refreshments will be served.
