This Saturday, July 29 is a 5th Saturday, which happens only 4 times per year. So we have a third dance this month!

We invite you to join us for an evening of live music and dancing. We'll start with the usual instruction/refresher lesson, taught by Luke Donforth from Burlington, our caller for the evening. If you are new to contra dancing, come by 7:30 so you can clean your shoes off or change them, before the instruction session which starts about 7:40. Contra dancing for everyone will happen from 8:00 to 11:00. Live music by the great VT band Atlantic Crossing: Peter Macfarlane on fiddle and low whistles, Viveka Fox on fiddle, bodhran and djembe, and Rick Klein on guitar. All dances will be taught by the caller!

Come to dance, as usual, at the Capital City Grange Hall, 6612 VT-12, Berlin VT 05602, just one mile south of Montpelier.

If you've been to our fun dances, consider this a reminder. If you've always wanted to try out contra dancing, we'd love to have you join us. You'll also see our revised COVID protocols--we are now masks optional. We encourage mask-wearing by anyone who wants to, but will no longer require masks. If you feel sick, please stay away and join us at our next dance.

Contra dance admission prices: $12 for adults, $5 for kids & low-income folks, or be a "dance supporter" and give us $20, to help us pay the wonderful callers, musicians and sound techs for the great work they do. Choose what price matches your resources. We're happy to have everyone who comes, whatever you pay!
