Coming up Thursday on Central Vermont Community Radio: Stories from Worcester history and how to design your landscape to be resilient to flooding.
9:00 - 10:00 am
David Book is co-author of The Cow That Tried to Swallow a Potato, a book of tales from the history of Worcester. We'll talk to him about the travails of the titular tater-tasting critter and more.
Moretown-based permaculture designer Ben Falk designed his farm to be resilient to extreme rain events, and he reports he came through the recent storms pretty well. We'll talk to him about what worked on his land during this test event, and what lessons the rest of us can learn from that.
