The Champlain Islands Food Shelf (CIFS) is having a Non-Perishable Food Drive and "Fill the Tote' event this Saturday, July 29th at the Champlain Islands Farmers' Market from 10am - 2pm @ St. Joseph's Church, 185 US Route 2, Grand Isle.
We have seen a significant increase in the number of Grand Isle County families visiting our food shelf each week so we need your help to fight food insecurity in our Island Community.
Please consider bringing non-perishables to the Farmers' Market Manager's Tent this Saturday such as these popular items at the CIFS:
* Hearty Soup, Stew, Chili, and Tuna
* Low Sugar Cereals
* Peanut Butter & Jelly
* Mayo, Ketchup, & Mustard
* Cake and Cookies Mixes
* Personal Items - Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Soap, Toilet Paper, & Dish Soap
You can also pick up a Reusable Tote to bring back next time you visit the Farmer's Market or drop off at the CIFS on Tuesdays 9:30 - 11:30am or Wednesdays 1 - 5:30pm.
THANK YOU for supporting our Islands' neighbors in need and see you at the Champlain Islands Farmer's Market this Saturday!
