Richmond Rescue will be on site. Come meet them, learn about what they do, and check out the interior of an ambulance. Also, special this week: Richmond Farmers Market T-Shirts, only $10 (regularly $15)!

Music at 5: Mad River Valley based singer/songwriter Bruce Jones plays a mix of original songs as well as traditional to contemporary folk songs covering artists from Tom Rush to Ray Lamontagne. For many years, Bruce was a member of the popular acoustic group Full Moon Heart and more recently was part of the acoustic trio, 440Hz.

Produce this week: blueberries, raspberries, currants, salad greens, arugula, cucumbers, green beans, carrots, micro greens, shallots, onions, yellow squash, zucchini, fresh new garlic, potatoes, heirloom and other tomatoes, basil, mint, parsley, dill and other herbs, sweet & hot peppers, scallions, fennel, spinach, braising greens, kale (4 kinds!), beets, beet greens, chard, cabbage, broccoli, eggplant, shishito peppers, daikon radishes, shiitake mushrooms, sunflowers and more. Last Resort Farm is offering specials on cucumbers. Pre-orders for cukes as well as pickling beets & beans and canning tomatoes appreciated (453-2847). Maple Wind Farm is offering 10 lbs of slicing tomatoes for $30 if pre-ordered (email: Beth@MapleWindFarm.com)

Other groceries: goat cheese; pasture-raised chicken, beef, pork, & eggs; pesto; chocolate truffles; maple syrup; honey; bread; muffins, cookies; maple candies; wine (Huntington River Vineyard).

Dining options: SamosaMan (samosas, curries); Maple Wind Farm (grilled burgers, hotdogs, and sausages); Kadric’s (Eastern European cuisine); Maple Tree Tea (iced teas and lemonade); Ewetopia’s homemade ice cream; and Knick-Knackatory’s shaved ice & cookies (including gluten-free options).

Crafts: wool (spun for knitting, carded for felting, and felted animals); cards and prints; pottery; candles; henna tattoos; journals; hair accessories.

Debit cards and EBT are welcomed. EBT expenditures are matched dollar for dollar, up to $10 per market day, with coupons. Gift certificates available. Park in the Volunteer’s Green side of the lot, or the Town Center or Rec field lots. Better yet, arrive by bicycle or on foot! Please leave parking spaces in front of On the Rise for bakery patrons. Public restroom facilities are by the rec fields. See you at the market!
