The Current in Stowe is offering a talk on Contemporary Art this Thursday at 5 pm. 'Art World 101' by London-based curator Carrie Scott will present an overview of what is happening in the art world today, explain the key players (artists, museums, galleries, influencers and more) and trends, and provide insights to make your art viewing experience more interesting and enjoyable. The talk is free (suggested donation: $10), refreshments will be served and your questions and comments are encoraged...this will be an informative and interactive discussion! The gallery will be open before the talk to view the new exhibit 'A Place of Memory.' No pre-registration needed.
