Thursday 07/27
10 am – 12:30 pm: Make A Herbarium Journal
Bring your own notebook, use one provided, or make one at the nature center and get started on your very own herbarium journal! Join in on collecting and identifying plants while learning how to preserve them and keep them in your notebooks to use for identifying the plants around you.
1 – 4: Lake Chemistry
Take water quality samples and learn about the ecology and geology of Lake Dunmore! Supplies included.
Friday 07/28
10 am – 12 pm: Ecosystem Building
Figure out what you'd need to add to a mason jar to create the perfect ecosystem for an animal or insect of choice. Supplies included.

10 am – 12:30 pm: Maple Dendrology/maple syrup tasting
Learn about how to identify maple trees and try some local syrup of different grades!

7:30: Evening Paddle: Free rental included, up to 4 attendees. Enjoy an evening kayaking on the lake. Potential for loon sightings; event will be canceled in the event of storms.
