On Saturday August 12th, the annual Battle Day race will once again be run as one of the events to commemorate the Battle of Bennington which took place on August 16, 1777.
The race starts and ends at the Bennington Battle Monument in Old Bennington VT. There will also be a 1/2 mile Kid's Fun Run around the Monument at 8:15 preceding the 5k.
Both runners and walkers are welcome to participate.
There is no planned day of race registration. Shirt pickup will begin at 7:30 and the race will begin at 8:30.
