The Northern Frontier Section of the Green Mountain Club will lead a hike up Mt. Elmore this Saturday, July 29th.
It's a moderate hike with some steep places near the top. 1470' Ascent, 3.4 mile round trip. There is a great view from the fire tower on the summit. Swim afterwards in Lake Elmore if you like. Bring lunch, water, snacks, raincoat, appropriate clothing and footwear (maybe swimwear).
