Sunday afternoon July 30th at 4:00 pm, the Vermont Jazz Ensemble will perform on the lawn behind the Brookfield Elementary School, 1728 Ridge Road. This is a change of venue due to the flood damage to Brookfield Pond Village. The Jazz Ensemble has been entertaining around Vermont for 47 years, and includes 17 musicians on saxophones, trombones, trumpets, drums, bass, piano, and guitar. Most of their music is in the Jazz or "Big Band" style, but other genres are often included too. Bring the whole family, a picnic, and a blanket or chairs for a very special afternoon in Brookfield. This event is free, however donations will be accepted and beverages and snacks may be available for purchase.
