The Craftsbury Chamber Players' season continues on Thursday, July 27 at 7:30 PM at the Hardwick Town House in Hardwick.
This week's program begins in the 20th Century with Charles Ives's Sonata No. 2 for violin and piano; we then move to contemporary works by Michael Fiday (b. 1961) and Caroline Shaw (b. 1982); the concert closes with a return to the Classical era for Beethoven's Trio in c minor, op. 9, no. 3, for violin, viola, and cello.
Performers are Sarah Bob, piano; Katherine Winterstein, violin; Mary Rowell, viola; and Frances Rowell, cello.

There is also a free mini concert for children and their friends, at East Craftsbury Presbyterian Church, at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 27. The program features excerpts from the evening concert and age-appropriate discussion.
