The 12th annual Caspian Challenge and 5k road race will be held Sunday, July 30 at 8:30 a.m. at the Ballfield in Greensboro (corner of Lakeshore and Breezy Ave). The race consists of the classic, rolling 6.7 mile loop around Caspian Lake as well as a flat, out and back 5k race. The race, sponsored by the Greensboro Association is a fundraiser for the Greensboro Bend Rail Trail Initiatives. Register at greensboroassociation.org or on race day starting at 7:15 a.m.
