There will be a bottles and cans (with deposits) collection at the Poultney Transfer Station, 611 Hillside Road, Poultney on Saturday, July 29, from 9:00AM-2:00PM. All proceeds benefit the Rutland County Humane Society. Cash donations are also welcome. The RCHS is also in need of canned kitten food, soft dog treats, kongs (all sizes), cat and dog toys, paper towels and copy paper. Please be generous to this wonderful organization. You do NOT need to be a Poultney resident to drop off returnable containers. Thank you!
