Cheryl Marita, RN, MA will read from and discuss her book "Touching the Veil: End of Life Stories through the Eyes of a Nurse". Cheryl has years of experience as a hospice and palliative care nurse. She describes in vivid detail her own reactions as she allows the reader into the dying process and shares with honesty and intimacy each story about caregiving and being with the dying. Marita helps us accept death as part of the human condition as we deal with our own living with the inevitable end of our lives. Cheryl lives in New Mexico and works as a palliative care nurse in a local hospital.
