The Waterbury Democratic Town Committee will meet at the Fire Station (upstairs) at 7 pm on Thursday August 14. At this meeting, we will be nominating candidates for Justice of the Peace (election in November).

JPs oversee and provide support for elections, hear tax appeals, and solemnize marriages. It's a great way to be part of local government with a small time commitment, and training is provided by the Secretary of State's office.
