The gallery at The Arlington Common will be open from 5-7, featuring a talk by local artist Ellen Questel.
About the exhibit:
The exhibit "Illuminated Palettes" is presented by the Southwest Region of the Vermont Pastel Society, a regional branch of The Vermont Pastel Society.
The society has met monthly for many years and serves as a supportive and creative resource for members. They are a varied group of artists, with interests in landscape, portraiture, still life and semi abstraction. And although these artists share a common passion for pastel, a number of the group members work with other art mediums as well—oils, acrylics, mixed media, even sculptures. This occasional foray into different media broadens them as artists and often brings a new understanding of what each medium can accomplish.
Free and open to the public.
