Skiers and Community Concert Goers,
You're invited to the 3rd Annual (rain or shine) "Under the Hump" outdoor concert at Camel's Hump Nordic Ski Area in Huntington, Saturday , August 19th from 3-9pm. The music headliners this year will be nationally known Logan Halstead and Nat Myers, along with The Knowwhere Kids and surprise local talent. The trails will be mowed, so come hike the trails early and enjoy the music from 4pm til 9!
Tickets are $20 at: [ https://www.eventbrite.com/e/under-the-hump-tickets-666568904537 | https://www.eventbrite.com/e/under-the-hump-tickets-666568904537 ]
The concert is a fundraiser to further trail development at the non-profit CHNSA, so bring the family, chairs, and blankets, and enjoy the music, the community vibe, frisbee, cornhole, etc., and the scenic venue overlooking the Adirondacks. A portion of the concert revenue will be donated to Richmond Rescue in memory of Nicole Killian, an RN at the Medical Center, a Richmond Rescue volunteer, and an avid skier and outdoorswoman who recently died in a tragic British Columbia mountaineering accident.
Ticket sales will be capped at 500. Parking is at the CHNSA parking lot--1085 Bert White Road, but we strongly urge carpooling (3-4/car ideally), park & ride in Richmond or Huntington (behind the library) to limit traffic at the music venue. Food will be available by Glory Burger and non-alcoholic beverages from Beaudry's Store in Huntington. There will be a raffle with goodies by Skida, Darn Tough, Mola, Featherflies, and a season pass to Camel's Hump Nordic. Please plan to BYOB.
