Yin Yoga with Kim
Camp Ingalls
Mondays 6:30-7:30 pm
July 17,24,31
Yin yoga is great for athletes and the aging body. It is more of a passive yoga in which we use gravity and props to guide us as we "creep" into poses in a deep and meditative way. The poses are held for 3-5 min as a way of targeting the joints and connective tissues. The by-product of holding the poses is that you become connected to the breath and experience a meditative stillness. Just show up to one class or all three. You need to provide your own yoga mat. By donation.
These classes are offered in collaboration with North Hero Parks and Rec and Island Arts.
