Sunday July 16 at 12:30

Presented by Peacham Garden Group

Michael has been farming and gardening organically for 22 years. Michael also stewards his farm's forests, harvesting the 'worst trees first' in order to improve the health, beauty and ease of use of our forests. They began making biochar from their forestry operations in 2010 using an Adam Retort and an Oregon Flame Cap Kiln. Biochar has been used for thousands of years around the globe to improve soils.
Learn how to use it, make it and discuss the many benefits of biochar!
