Want to participate in the KidsVT/Seven Days 2023 Good Citizen Challenge? The Mad River Valley Libraries can help you get started!

Created and sponsored by Seven Days and KidsVT, this challenge asks participants in grades K-8 to find the answers to some questions about their community, and to consider what we can do when we work together, the impact we can have, and the messages we can send to each other about how we should act. Finish a row of five activities and receive a Good Citizen sticker and patch, a pocket-sized U.S. Constitution, and an invitation to a fall reception at the Vermont Statehouse.

At the MRV library Good Citizen events, we will focus on completing one of the challenges listed on the bingo card. Join us at the Moretown Library for our second Good Citizen's Challenge, #18 Museum Piece. You will have a chance to select an item that relates to your life, and then create a label for it as part of a museum exhibit of the future showcasing 'life in 2023'. We will have a variety of items on hand, or bring something that is special to you. Snacks are provided!
