The next selection in our Teen Book Discussion series is Ibram X. Kendi & Nic Stone's How to be a (Young) Antiracist. With poignancy and personal stories, this book covers challenging topics that affect every one of us today, such as privilege, systemic racism, justice movements, and police violence. When you sign up, you will also receive BONUS book Antiracist Baby by Ibram X. Kendi.
Our book discussion will be Friday, July 28th from 6-7PM.
FREE copies of the books are now available behind the Children's Desk while supplies last. If you know you are planning on attending the discussion, please email kathryn.laliberte@ilsleypubliclibrary.org and I will gladly reserve you a copy.
