The Craftsbury Chamber Players' first concert has been postponed due to weather! Join us Saturday, July 15 at 2:00 PM at the Hardwick Town House in Hardwick - or come early for a pre-concert chat with one of the performing artists, beginning at 1:15.
The concert will also serve as a donation drive for the Hardwick Area Food Pantry, which serves the greater Hardwick community with access points in Hardwick, Craftsbury, and Albany. The HAFP has seen a vast increase in need since 2020, and the recent flooding has exacerbated this need. Please bring non-perishable food items and toiletries; CCP will collect these items and then deliver them to HAFP.
The program features Franz Joseph Haydn's string Quartet in D Major, Op. 20, no, 4; Franz Schubert's Sonata in a minor "Arpeggione," for viola and piano, and Antonin Dvorak's Quintet No. 2 in A Major, Op. 81, for strings and piano.
Performers are Darryl Kubian and Mary Rowell, violins; Kenji Bunch, viola; Frances Rowell, cello; and Monica Ohuchi, piano. There will be a pre-concert chat featuring one of the artists at 6:45.
Tickets are available at the door. Single admission – $25; Students – $10; Children 12 and under – free. Season passes also available. For information, please visit craftsburychamberplayers.org or call 1-800-639-3443.
