Hello neighbors, friends, and kin,
We are looking forward to coming together and sharing a community meal on Monday, July 17th for our first Monday Night Pizza Bake of the season!
Due to this week's flooding, we have had to reassess the structure of our first bake. In the true nature that began pizza nights at the community oven, we are asking that those of you with excess in your gardens or otherwise able, to BRING TOPPINGS, all prepped and ready for pizza assembly! (Please, NO MEAT.) We will still be providing sauce, cheese, pepperoni, and dough, stretched and ready to be made into delectable creations.
The pizzas will then be baked and brought to the COMMUNITY TABLE, where all are welcome to grab a slice or two, sharing all pies that are made by all! We will not be taking individual or family orders for whole pizzas, and are instead bringing back the community meal aspect of Monday nights past.
If you can, bring your own plates and whatnot, but we will also have paper plates and napkins available.
We are honored to be a part of this incredible community, and hope free pizza amidst the clean-up efforts brings a bright spot to an otherwise challenging time.
