Free community meals available for eat in or take out at the Reading Fire Station, Saturday July 15 starting at 11:30 . Delivery will also be available to those who can not make it to the fire station. If you need a meal delivered please contact:

Please join us for a meal, we welcome all. We are Vermont strong and many people have stepped up and stepped in to help the town, their neighbors and community members. So come enjoy a meal and so hi to a neighbor or meet a new one, or take home a wonderful meal to enjoy.

This event is being made possible by the generosity of the VT100. Their event sadly had to be cancelled due to the flooding. The Brownsville Butcher and Pantry is who does their catering and in charge of food cooking and preparation. They are distributing meals thru numerous organizations in area towns. Readings event will take place at the fire station. We would like to thank all the volunteers that are coming together to support this effort. The VT 100, Brownsville Butcher and Pantry, Reading Fire Department, Reading Fire Auxiliary, and Christian Huebner and his volunteers. I'm sure I missed someone but we truly do thank everyone who has helped make this event happen.
