Flood & Town PC Meeting

Past event
Jul 13, 2023, 6 PM

Greetings,

First and foremost, I hope this email finds you all safe after the recent flood. The Health Department has asked the Health Officers to share its message, as follows: The Health Department has compiled information on its website about what to do during and after a flood, including health and safety information about returning to a home or business and cleaning up flooded homes. The webpage is updated regularly with new information; please check back for updates. HealthVermont.gov/Flood

Second, this is to inform you that the Essex Town Planning Commission will be meeting on Thursday, July 13, 2023 @ 6:00 p.m. The Planning Commission always starts each meeting with 'Public to be Heard'. This gives someone an opportunity for you to discuss any other concern that you may have and would like the PC to address. The exception is if there is a Consent Agenda item. If you are in attendance for the meeting, the time to ask your questions is under 'Public to be Heard'. As it happens, we have 1 item under the Consent Agenda, as follows: Ron & Alice Siegriest are looking to adjust the boundaries between two properties that they own located at 232 & 226 River Road. They will reduce Lot 5 by transferring 20,047 s.f. to Lot 1. The next item is an update on current planning projects that are being worked on by staff; followed by any 'Other Business' that may need to be shared.
