What is a fibershed, why is it important and how can you support it? Jane will talk about the mission of the Vermont Fibershed to promote local natural fiber production and processing within the state and nearby region. The VT Fibershed supports sustainable practices that honor land resources and New England's historical contributions to textile production. The goal is to link producers: from farmers to finished products to consumers at all levels.
