33 days to go! Townwide celebration of Vaneasa Stearns on Saturday August 12, 5-9 p.m.

What would your life be like without the Lincoln General Store? Mine would include extra trips to Bristol and beyond, I'd be empty-handed on Valentine's Day, short of ingredients for meals, out of pet food, skipping lunch, we'd have coffee without cream, boring bread, I'd have cold ears and toes without those awesome Skidas and darn tough socks, dry pancakes without VT maple syrup, we'd be thirsty, and lonely! Seriously folks, the Lincoln General Store is one of the biggest reasons we are able to survive up here in the mountains. Vaneasa has provided an extremely dedicated service to our community, running the Store for over 30 years. She has done this with compassion, creativity, and an "above and beyond" attitude. It's about time we let her know how much we love and appreciate her! Join us for this town-wide celebration; everyone is invited. Please help us spread the word. We know you can all think of an endearing moment, a "saved my day", a shared laugh, or some memory of how she has touched your life in a special way.
