Personal & community resilience includes local, accessible medicine, so here's a shout out that the 1st of 3 MATERIA MEDICA: LOCALLY GROWN & WILD-HARVESTED PLANT MEDICINE classes is this Thursday evening from 6-8. In each of these 2 hour long classes, we'll go in-depth with some of our most potent local plant medicines. The plants chosen are easy to find, grow abundantly either in the garden or the wild, and are safe & effective treatments for a wide range of health issues. We'll cover the plants' medicinal uses, how to find or grow them, and how to prepare their medicines. For each plant, we'll have tea or tincture to try during class so that you can experience them firsthand.
