WRITING VERMONT: TWO ADULT NOVELISTS CHAT ABOUT BRINGING VERMONT TO LIFE IN THEIR BESTSELLING & AWARD-NOMINATED BOOKS
Miranda Beverly-Whittemore spent three childhood years in Colchester and returns throughout the year to her family’s house on Lake Champlain. That same area provided inspiration for Miranda’s *New York Times-*bestselling novel, *Bittersweet, *which *People *called a “mesmerizing gothic thriller.”
Tammy Greenwood grew up in Vermont and spends every August at her family camp near Lyndonville. Seven of Tammy’s novels (under her pen name, T.
Greenwood) are set on the fictional Lake Gormlaith in the northeastern part of the state. Her most recent novel, *Bodies of Water, *was nominated for the Lambda Literary Award.
Please join Miranda and Tammy for a reading, conversation, and signing.
They’ll discuss their novels and the way Vermont has impacted the way they live, work, and write. THURSDAY, AUGUST 6, 6 PM at The Flying Pig Bookstore.
This event is free and open to the public.
