Notice & Warning to Taxpayers of 2023 Grievance

On Monday, July 17, 2023 at 9:00am the Hartland Board of Listers will meet downstairs at Damon Hall to begin hearing the 2023 Grievance. The purpose of this meeting is to hear the grievances of persons, co-partnerships, associations, or corporations aggrieved by their appraisal or by any of the Listers' actions. These quasi-judicial hearings are open to the public but no public comments will be taken during the hearings except from representatives of the aggrieved parties. All hearings will be recorded and made available to the public once the meeting minutes are posted. Any property owner may grieve during the grievance hearing period regardless of whether they received a Change of Appraisal Notice or a Use Value Allocation Notice this year. All grievances must be submitted in writing by Monday, July 17, 2023; postmark is accepted.

Please note Listers extended office hours this coming week July 10th- 14th: Mon. Tues. & Thur. 8-4 Wed. & Fri. 8-6.
