Register now for a Do-it-Yourself Weatherization Skillshop. Learn how to complete home weatherization projects and qualify for incentives offered by Efficiency Vermont. The skillshop will cover air-sealing, insulation, attics, basements, and windows & doors. A skillshop will be held in our area on October 12, from 9 AM - 3 PM, at the Central Vermont Community Action Council, 20 Gables Place, Barre. The registration fee is $25. Weatherize your home to save money and fuel, help the environment, and make your home more comfortable. Incentives for up to $2600 are available from Efficiency Vermont, including a special bonus incentive of $500 offered until December 31. Your project could count toward Northfield's Home Energy Challenge numbers if you complete it by the end of this year!
