Elmore Jams – July 10 With D & Cookie
We are pleased to welcome "D & Cookie" with opening act, Joe Ciccolo for Elmore Jams at the beautiful Elmore Store Lake Front on Monday, July 10th. Bring your chair or a blanket and plan on spending an evening of great entertainment, delicious fare and cash bar provided by The Elmore Store, opening at 5:00 p.m., with time to meet and greet old friends and new acquaintances.
D Davis and Carrie Cook, aka Cookie, have been lifetime musicians who love all styles of music. They play together in "Cookie's Hot Club", a cosmic, sultry, swingin' & sometimes irreverent gypsy jazz band. And thus, carry that mix into their diverse repertoire of genres, including some originals, jazz, standards, classical, Americana and country. As well, they are known for their performances in other bands including: Les Dead Ringers, Red Hot Juba, The Larkspurs, The Lovesick Trio, Sky Blue Boys & Cookie, and Steady Betty.
Elmore's own Joe Ciccolo will start off our evening of entertainment at 5:30 p.m. Joe has been playing guitar and singing since high school. For 25 years, Joe had a five piece wedding band, working in and around the Boston area. All types of dance music was featured. Along with playing music, he also was a featured performer in the variety group known as the Turntables, a six person singing and dancing stage ensemble. In recent times, Joe was musically adopted by the Marcoux family and played music every Sunday at St. Teresa's Church in Hyde Park. You can hear him in the community as a pit band member for the Lamoille County Opera House and various Jam Sessions.
Elmore Jams continue on Monday evenings throughout the month of July. Mark your calendars and keep them open to come to Elmore:
July 17 – Thunder Lillies with Peter Alsen and Opening Act – Jon Gailmor;
