Join us for a special Meet & Greet with a Farm to Ballet dancer, a dance-themed read aloud, and a 30-minute ballet class on Tuesday, 7/11, starting at 10:30am. Be sure to bring a camera/phone to take some pictures! We will meet in the play area on the second floor of the library.

About Farm to Ballet: Now Vermont's premier classical ballet company, Ballet Vermont started as a passion project to bridge the arts with sustainable agriculture. In 2015, Artistic Director Chatch Pregger and Executive Director Katie Decker dreamed up an event that would bring their favorite art form, classical ballet, to rural towns in Vermont. They envisioned ballet performances that celebrate Vermont's agricultural history and future by bringing a farm's ecosystem to life through dance. Thus, the Farm to Ballet Project was born: a series of ballet performances and live music performed outside on farms, entertaining and educating the community while also funding regenerative agriculture projects for the host farms.
