Hello Neighbors,
The life of one of our beloved neighbors, Karla Munson, will be celebrated this August by her family, friends and the Hinesburg Community Resource Center. Karla was a Hinesburg resident for almost 50 years. She loved her family, was active in her community and truly enjoyed helping others.
Karla was the board chairperson of the Hinesburg Community Resource Center for more than a decade. She developed the Hinesburg Rides program, started our Twice is Nice Thrift Store and helped so many community members in need. The HCRC organization wouldn't be the same without Karla's time and dedication. She is greatly missed!
The HCRC board would like to invite friends and family members to honor Karla at a tree planting ceremony held at the Hinesburg Food Shelf on Thursday, August 3rd at 6pm. Light refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP me, Anna Main, at main@hinesburgresource.org by Tuesday, August 1st for planning purposes.
Additionally, the Munson family would like to invite family, friends and community members to a celebration of Karla's life on Saturday, August 5th from 3-6pm at 134 Buck Hill West Rd in Hinesburg. Picnic food will be served and no RSVPs are needed.
