Meet the team (Production Supervisor Kathy Richards; Artistic Director Corey Gottfried; Music Director Carol Wheel; and Choreographer Donna Antell) and learn about opportunities to perform on stage or volunteer behind-the-scenes for Lyric's fall 2014 production of Mel Brooks' "The Producers." Based on the classic cult comedy film, this musical sets the standard for modern, outrageous, in-your-face humor! The show will be presented on the Flynn MainStage in November with generous support from Trust Company of Vermont and Clarke Demas & Baker. Tickets will go on sale to the general public in September. Auditions for Lyric Theatre Company’s “The Producers”

Auditionees must register between 5:45 and 6:15 PM.
Mel Brooks (writer, director and composer) highlights his comic genius in this funny, satirical dark comedy that debuted as a film in 1968 and later became an acclaimed Broadway stage musical in 2001 with the stars reprising their roles in the movie version in 2005. Lyric's production will feature a cast of 34 with stage ages ranging from 18 to 60+; 5 featured roles for men; 1 featured female role; and 28 chorus parts with opportunities for lots of stage time. Leading the team for Lyric are Production Supervisor Kathy Richards; Artistic Director Corey Gottfried; Music Director Carol Wheel; and Choreographer Donna Antell.
