Biking with Fluidly Moving Body and Sierra Club-Thurs

Join the Vermont Sierra Club and Fluidly Moving Body on a casual bike ride from Montpelier to Worcester along Vermont Rte 12 This Thursday at 6:30 pm We will meet at the Montpelier City Hall and proceed from there. The route is approximately 18 miles roundtrip and will include one larger hill and a few small hills that may be challenging for newer or intermediate riders. For those riders challenged by the hill, you can shorten the route to 10 miles roundtrip by stopping at Wrightsville Reservoir Boar Launch or Wrightsville Beach. You can relax for a while by bringing a snack or going for a swim while others continue the ride.

The outing will be led by Anita Hoy of Fluidly Moving Body Works along with Robb Kidd, Sierra Club Conservation Program Manager. Fluidly Moving Body Works is a unique health and fitness center specializing in helping people achieve their goals using a combination of personal training and wellness coaching. Their approach is tailored to each individual and they work with clients of all ages and abilities.

The Sierra Club is campaigning to address transportation's role in contributing to climate. Our vision is to have a transportation system that is accessible, affordable, and equitable. Making Vermont's roads safe for bikes and pedestrians Vermont can reduce single occupancy vehicle miles traveled and therefore reduce carbon emissions.
