We have a wonderful presentation to share with everyone regarding the old covered bridges in our area.

A. Nicholas Strom-Olsen, the great, great, great grandson of famous covered bridge builder, Nicholas Powers, will be presenting the program. In fact the bridge on Rt. 140 over Otter Creek near Waldo Lane was once a covered bridge built in 1859 and then dismantled in 1949 noting that the bridge was too small and not strong enough for modern traffic. Please come to support the Historical Society as well as enjoy this interesting program.
