Science or Magic?? Jim Snack will present a show filled with optical illusions, magic, and audience participation. He will share just enough of the science behind the magic to spark the curiosity of young readers to explore more. Mr. Snack says, “They will learn to think like a scientist and act like a magician!” This last of the summer’s “Fizz, Boom, Read” programs will be at the Argyle Free Library this Friday from 10 a.m. to noon. Nutritious snacks will be provided. Preschoolers through sixth-graders are welcome to participate in this free program. Parents of pre-schoolers are requested to accompany their children. Carrie Williams, program coordinator, has been delighted with the attendance at these programs which have been supported in part by a grant from the New York State Library, the Argyle Free Library and the Friends of the Library.
