Two Rivers Printmaking Studio, located at 85 Main Street, White River Junction, VT, is pleased to present Many Artists, One Model…a tribute to Penny Bennett. Penny Bennett, an extremely talented artist and valued model, passed away in September of 2022. Twelve artists contributed images featuring Penny for this exhibit. The artwork in this display is evidence of Penny's talent for posing and also reflects the spirit she conveyed. She routinely inspired artists to do their best work.
Pieces in this exhibit, finished in a variety of media, span a 20 year period and illustrate various changes in both artist and model over time. Two Rivers Printmaking Studio supported Penny in various ways over the years, and artwork sold will in turn benefit the studio.
The artwork will be exhibited in the gallery at Two Rivers Printmaking Studio through Aug 25, 2023. The studio will be open this Friday, July 7, from 5pm-7pm, as part of White River Junction's First Friday celebration. The reception is free and open to the public. Gallery hours are Thursdays and Fridays, 11 – 2pm, or by chance or appointment.
