The Vermont Playwrights Circle celebrates its annual TenFest of 10 short plays by 10 local authors, Thu August 14th-Sun August 17th at Valley Players in Waitsfield. The program runs the gamut from the humorous to the dramatic, and includes three plays by very local playwrights: "At Death's Door" by Ethan Reid of Williston, "No Lego Manual for Life" by Lauren Kelley of Hinesburg, and my own "The Joke About the Small Bird."
