The Brookfield Historical Society will hold its annual Helen Daly and Margaret Stone Ice Cream Social this year on Sunday, August 10, at the Society’s Marvin Newton House on Ridge Road in Brookfield. The Ice Cream Social, with cookies, and music by the Bear Hill Jammers will be available on the grounds from 2-4 p.m. Come enjoy the treats and music!

The special feature at the Society's museum this summer is a mixed media display of art depicting the Brookfield's Floating Bridge from the late 19th Century. As it is each Sunday during the summer, the house is open for viewing from 2-4 P.M.
