Thursday 06/29
11 – 12 pm: Natural Crafts
Stop in any time 10-12 and get the supplies to make a naturalist's journal, complete coloring pages, or build your own bird's nest.
12:30 – 2: Lakeside Watercolors
Sit by the lake and enjoy some landscape water coloring while learning about the environment around you. Supplies provided; feel free to bring your own.
2 – 4: Lake Chemistry
Take water quality samples and learn about the ecology and geology of Lake Dunmore! Supplies included Friday 06/30
10:00 – 12:00: Morning Paddle
Free kayak rental included! Limited to first come first serve of ~4 boats. Meet at the Nature Center just before 10 to sign up and get gear. Subject to cancellation due to weather
2 - 4: The Endangerment Game
What impact do you think you have on the environment? Meet in the nature center to learn about the past and present endangered species of Vermont and learn about what you can do to keep our ecosystems safe.
Other crafts/activities will be held as well.
