Beach Yoga on Lake Elmore is back starting in July! Mark your calendars for this 6-week series on Fridays at 9am starting on July 7 through August 11. Rain or Shine! Dive a little deeper into the practice of Yoga on the sandy beach of Lake Elmore. Learn about what Yoga means and the 8-limbs of the practice. Listen to the sounds of nature as you breathe and move your body gently through stretching, sun-salutations and beautiful balancing postures. End with relaxing meditation and rest. Stay and enjoy the lake, or hike to the fire tower-the individual class fee of $20 includes all-day use of the park!
Instructions: Enter through the gates of the Lake Elmore State Park. Turn left past the ranger station, and park down by the beach access. If Sunny- class will be to the right of the beach house on the lake. If Raining- class will be in the pavilion located in the far back corner of the parking lot. Bring a towel, mat and water. Thanks!
